Organization Development & Training
Organization Development and Training (ODT) focuses on planning, designing, and implementing programs and processes that increase the capabilities and effectiveness of the Library and Library employees. Housed within the Business and Human Resources Service Center, we help improve processes relating to the full employment cycle, including recruiting, hiring and onboarding, employee engagement, professional development, supervision and management skills, and separation processes. ODT also offers development in topics that help affect positive organizational change and shape healthy culture in areas such as organizational readiness, communication and conflict resolution, change management, customer service, and similar topics.
