I’m looking for a paper from a conference. How can I find it?

Search in MathSciNet or Zentralblatt MATH to see if and/or how the paper was published. After determining whether the paper was published in a journal or book (monograph or conference proceedings), search the Online Catalog to see if the title is held on campus. Search the book or journal title rather than the title of the paper. If the title is not on campus, use the drop down menu and search “All I-Share Libraries” to see if you can request the title from another college or university in Illinois. If the title is not available, request the item through Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery.

If you are unable to find the paper, use Google or Google Scholar to search for the name of the conference. Put the name of the conference in quotations (example: “Combinatorics in London 1998”) to get more accurate results. You may find the paper at the conference website, or there may be further information about how to find a copy of it.
