Acquisitions including Electronic Resources, manages the work to acquire, pay for and, with Cataloging Services support, make available new material for the Library collections. The unit maintains all recurring resources with annual renewals, serial cancellations and activation checks. Acquisitions also maintains the database of orders, vendor database, the SFX administration services, the many processes linked to the Voyager Acquisitions client as well the fund reports run from the Voyager tables. Staff provide support for the subject bibliographers and offer training, fund report review, vendor updates and orientation sessions. Acquisitions works with the Library Business Office and Office of Collections to end the fiscal year and create the new FY ledger.
