Partnering Across Campus

Supporting student success is an entire campus effort. Partner with the Library to help connect Illinois students with the resources, events, and support they need.

Partnerships takes many different forms. Examples include:

  • Tabling events
    • Set up a table in the Library and engage with students. Provide handouts, resources, and promote your services to students.
      • Past tabling includes providing information on LGBT resources, stress relief techniques, food insecurity resources, and more.
  • Workshops
    • We can design a workshop with your needs in mind, or you can request an already done workshop.
      • Examples include Financial Literacy, Creative Writing, Demystifying the Library, and more.
      • Past partners include McKinley Health Center and the Counseling Center.
  • Displays and exhibits
    • If you want to increase visibility of the work your RSO or class is doing, we are happy to discuss ways to make that happen. We have display cases and exhibit space available, and like highlighting the history and present work and experiences of students and organizations on campus.
  • Pop-up events
    • Work with us to design a fun activity for students or provide an opportunity for students to engage with different collections from the Library.
  • Let us come to you!
    • Library partnerships can take place in locations outside of the Library. If it makes more sense for us to come to you, we will!

If you want to partner with the Library, email Student Success Librarian, María Emerson, at memersn2@illinois.edu to discuss times and ideas.
