This week’s featured collection is Record Series 28/5/811, the Men’s Football Programs! As the University of Illinois is in the heart of the 2023 football season, and our 113th annual Homecoming has just passed, it’s a great time to highlight this collection.
The Mumford House, which sits on the South Quad, is the oldest extant building on campus. However, it is NOT the oldest thing on campus – that honor belongs to the tall, stately Austrian Pine trees that stand on the east side of Fourth Street, from Armory to Pennsylvania.
