Emerging Journals

The Mathematics Library subscribes to a variety mathematics and statistics journals, but it is impossible to subscribe to them all. Nevertheless, we are pleased to make you aware of what is available, especially those titles that are new and notable in the field. Below is a list of mathematics journals that have been announced or put into publication in the last three years.  This list is updated twice a year.  The latest update was June 2019.  For the most current list see the New Journals in Mathematics list which is maintained by MathSciNet. (NOTE: if accessing MathSciNet from off-campus, you will need to use the campus VPN.)

**Algebraic Combinatorics (2018)
“Dedicated to publishing high-quality papers in which algebra and combinatorics interact in interesting ways. There are no limitations on the kind of algebra or combinatorics: the algebra involved could be commutative algebra, group theory, representation theory, algebraic geometry, linear algebra, Galois theory, associative or Lie algebras, among other possibilities. The combinatorics could be enumerative, coding theory, root systems, design theory, graph theory, incidence geometry or other topics. The key requirement is not a particular subject matter, but rather the active interplay between combinatorics and algebra.” (From Algebraic Combinatorics)

**Annales Henri Lebesgue (2018)
The Annales Henri Lebesgue publish articles in all research areas of mathematics, either in French or in English… The editorial board is organized in three large mathematical areas, namely Algebra and Geometry, Analysis, and Probability and Statistics. This splitting is made to ease the submission process ; this should not be understood as a constraint: we warmly welcome articles at the crossroads of distinct areas. (From Annales Lesbesgue)
