Library users can visit the the Undergraduate Library Technology Loan desk.

Description

ELF 2.0, a loanable equipment checkout system, allows students to sign an equipment loan agreement form for their items on a touch screen, and receive their loanable technology agreement form through email. Renewals and returns of technology checkout items are also be paperless.

When is this service available

This service is available any time the Undergraduate Library is open.

Priority level for this service

ELF is supported whenever the Undergraduate Library is open. Support staff are on call to address issues.

How to report a problem

If ELF is down, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you believe there is a widespread outage, please call 244-4688 and leave a message with the Library IT Help Desk. During business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.), the Library IT Help Desk will answer, and during evenings or weekends, the AITS Service Desk will answer on behalf of the Help Desk. In an emergency situation, the AITS Service Desk answering service will contact Library IT on-call support staff promptly.

Who can use this service

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign faculty, staff, and students can checkout loanable technology.

UGL employees who have been trained can log into the ELF form.
