The patron feed at this time gathers information from the i-card data feed and Technology Services’s AD servers. Information is combined to supply the information to our internal database. This database is used for validation of certain services, such as the Mailing Slip program and ILLiad. There is also a feed produced that is submitted to CARLI to populate Voyager.
When is this service available
Patron feeds are processed several times a week, typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Priority level for this service
Problems with the Voyager patron data feed are dealt with during normal business hours by the Help Desk and IMS Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
How to report a problem
If the Voyager patron data feed is down, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Who can use this service
The Patron data feed is routinely run by Help Desk staff.
What you must have to use this service
Permission to run the various scripts, appropriate access to the internal database, and access to the CARLI file server system.
