The Illinois Data Bank is a public access repository for publishing research data from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
When is this service available
The Illinois Data Bank is typically expected to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Help requests are handled during normal business hours.
Priority level for this service
Maintaining the Illinois Data Bank is a critical priority for Library IT. We make every effort to resolve problems with this service as quickly as possible.
We make every effort to work with hosted dependencies to resolve outages as quickly as possible. Library IT then monitors the situation until resolved.
How to report a problem
If Illinois Data Bank is down, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
If you believe there is a widespread outage, please call 244-4688 and leave a message with the Library IT Help Desk. During business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.), the Library IT Help Desk will answer, and during evenings or weekends, the AITS Service Desk will answer on behalf of the Help Desk. In an emergency situation, the AITS Service Desk answering service will contact Library IT on-call support staff promptly.

Who can use this service
Anyone can access datasets within the Illinois Data Bank. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign affiliated faculty, staff, and graduate students may deposit up to 2 TB per principal investigator per year.
