Connect to IDEALS
Getting Started with IDEALS. This collection is for those faculty, staff, and students whose own academic units have not yet set up their own IDEALS community and collection (for example, the European Union Center).
When is this service available
This service is typically expected to be available 224 hours a day, 7 days a week, but may only be supported 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Priority level for this service
Problems with IDEALS are dealt with during normal business hours by Scholarly Communications and Repository Services. Extended support is provided near thesis deposit deadlines, as determined by the Graduate College.
How to report a problem
If IDEALS is down, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The restrictions for this service are for faculty, staff, and students.
What you must have to use this service
Typically just an internet connection.
