Library IT supports library owned computers
Library IT supports University Library owned hardware. If a library employee needs help to install or configure software or troubleshoot a computer-related problem for a personal computer, the Library IT staff cannot do that on their University Library working time. This applies to any situation including when a library employees choose to use their personal computers for Library work at home.
Where to get help for a personal computer
- Contact Technology Services Help Desk at 244-7000 about a specific problem.
- Contact a Library IT staff or student and arrange for technical support off hours. The agreement is made between the computer owner and the technician for non-working time (not with the Library IT).
