The Help Desk have had several people who checked out our non-USB desktop microphones and haven’t been able to get the them to work. Below are steps to “turn on” the microphone.
- Open the Volume Control window (located on the bottom right hand side of screen on the task bar).
- Click on Options
- Choose Properties
- Make sure the option Microphone or Mic Volume is checked.
- Click OK
At this point you will notice that the Microphone option has appeared on the Master Volume window.
- Unmute Microphone
- Adjust volume accordingly
