An email alias is an alternate email address that forwards all the email it receives to your regular email account. An email alias can also be set up to redirect email to multiple regular email addresses. Library IT creates @library.illinois.edu email aliases by request. Please send a ticket to OTRS with the following information:
- Preferred name of the email alias
- Whether people outside of U of I should be able to send emails to the address
- Purpose of setting up the alias
