08/25/2015 – approved search committee for the Digital Reformatting Coordinator position.

1.   2:00-2:30 – Beth to discuss positions
The Committee discussed some proposed changes in faculty responsibilities and position descriptions for two individuals.

2.   2:30-3- AULs to talk about Org chart
The AULs and EC will send suggested changes to Kim by September 15.

3.   Approve minutes from August 24
Minutes were approved with changes by a motion from Nancy O’Brien, seconded by Lynne Rudasill.

4.   Question Time
We aren’t hearing much about the campus budget because it would be all speculation. There will be no substantive information until the state has a budget.

JoAnn discussed the next forum for specialized faculty. The forum will take place in early October. EC would like to make sure that definitions are very clear. The task force will work on a survey that will be sent out after the next forum. JoAnn will bring it back to EC for their review and discussion of next steps for the task force and how best to structure the forum.

Names were suggested.

6.   ClimateQual Team charge, membership
This was deferred to the next meeting.

7.   Budget planning for next year
This was deferred to the next meeting.

This was deferred to the next meeting.
