Present: John Wilkin, chair; David Ward, vice-chair; Mary Laskowski, secretary; Paula Carns, Bill Mischo, Nancy O’Brien, Lynne Rudasill, Lynne Thomas; Recording – Kim Matherly
- Approve minutes – November 12
Minutes were approved with a motion from Nancy O’Brien, seconded by Lynne Rudasill.
- Question Time
The Salons have been going well. John has also spoken to the Senate Committee on the Library and the Senate of the Urbana-Champaign Campus.
EC discussed membership for a working group.
Kim Matherly confirmed she would begin setting up interviews for EC with the applicants for the Head, Acquisitions and Cataloging Services.
Paula Carns has met with Greg Knott, John Laskowski and Jake MacGregor to discuss creating a tool kit for searches and expectations for committee chairs. EC will continue to discuss job descriptions at meetings, only approving them over email when time is an issue.
