1.                  Approve Minutes from April 16
Minutes were approved with a motion by Nancy O’Brien, seconded by Jennifer Teper.
 
2.                  Question Time
Bill will send out the request for hiring plan.

Three personnel issues were discussed.

Lynne Rudasill has suggested adding an agenda item for discussion at AC regarding copyright policy in the Library. She recently saw a publication that came out with the department claiming copyright.

Chris Prom will work with a group on the Library’s web presence.  He will write a brief discussion paper for EC and will talk about it at the Library Update session on 5/21.

There was a question about who makes up John Wilkin’s cabinet. It is made up of the AULs, Greg Knott, Jeff Schrader. Vicki Trimble attends one time a month and the cabinet meets most weeks.
 
3.                  PRC for faculty member
A committee was suggested and the individuals will be contacted and asked to serve.
 
4.                  Process for reviewing Unit heads
John will appoint a member of EC, a member of AC and a member of LSSC to make recommendations concerning those  two unit heads who are coming up for review.

5.                  May 21 update items 
John Wilkin would like to use the update time on May 21 to open channels for communication, in addition to the newsletter. He would like to have these discussions in the spring, fall and winter as a way to share general topics.

6.                  Unretreat – Instruction
