On August 7th the Center conducted an oral history interview with Jeff Machota, Shelley Masar, and Marten Stromberg about three of Urbana, Illinois’ iconic local music venues: Nature’s Table, Iron Post, and Rose Bowl. The spirited conversation covered a wide range of topics including how each location got its start and earned their unique music identities through their owners and the musicians who performed at these venues.
