2023 Folk and Roots Festival Starts Today

The Folk and Roots Festival kicks off this afternoon with Meadowhawk playing traditional music starting at 5pm in the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts lobby followed by Eddie Barbash and the KASA string quartet at 6pm with a wonderful mix of traditional fiddle, jazz, and symphonic tunes on strings with the rocking sound of Eddie Barbash on the saxophone.  Both programs are free and open to the general public.

So if you’re looking for something a little outside of the box, then why not come to the KCPA  for some outstanding entertainment. For a complete schedule of the week’s performances and ticket information please visit CU Folk and Roots Festival.
