The Undergraduate Library (UGL) is focused on supporting the academic and recreational needs of students. Collaborative gaming provides opportunities for students to engage in creative and social informal learning, and can also provide stress relief.
The UGL game collection includes suggestions from students and faculty. Materials were purchased in part through donor funds from the Shebik family.
In addition to the board and card games that can be checked out at the UGL circulation desk, the UGL has some permanent tables set up with options for backgammon, checkers and chess, as well as puzzles and Legos (in the Browsing/New Books section near the Loanable Technology desk on the upper level).
All games available in the UGL can be found in the Library Catalog.
Table top games follow the same circulation policies as other media items. Please see our Media Collection page for more details.
If you would like to suggest other games please let us know via our suggestion form.
