Policy on Use of Library Conference/Meeting Rooms for Instructional Purposes

  1. No regularly scheduled classes in conference/meeting rooms (rooms 413, 428, 225, 346) with exceptions noted below:
    1. One time instructional sessions by Library faculty are permitted if usual instruction rooms not available (i.e. these meeting rooms should be used as a last resort and early and late in the day is preferable)
    2. Bibliography classes normally taught in such rooms (e.g. Slavic bibliography, Africana bibliography, book arts are exempt.
  2. No classes or instruction sessions scheduled in these rooms until the University Librarian’s office has put out a call for regularly scheduled meetings (e.g. AC, EC, Divisional meetings, User Ed, Services Advisory Committee, ISCC, Women’s Studies Faculty) to be registered in these rooms.
