1. Membership update

  • Discussed need for a title and position description for volunteer members; run past Paula Kaufmann for approval
  • Jody will request that Jina and Phil are granted access to the G: drive

 2. Schedule updates (meetings and exhibitions)

  • Starting next month, meetings will be held from 4-5 pm on the second Wednesday of the month at the Oak St Library Facility 2nd-floor conference room
  • Agreed that reservations for exhibit spaces will only be allowed up to 12 months in advance; Jody will add note to web form requesting that 6 weeks’ notice be given if an exhibition is to be cancelled
  • Jody will put a link to the exhibit request web form on the left hand navigation bar of the excom website

3. Setup/takedown procedures

  • Update web form to require dates and time windows for installation and deinstallation of exhibits to help streamline the turnovers
  • Also require a secondary contact on exhibit form in case of scheduling issues, etc

4. Potential purchases

  • Jina and Phil agreed to update the supply cabinet inventory
  • Jody suggests following purchases, will decide for sure after inventory is completed: risers; acrylic wedges; book truck; staple gun. Decided against table top display case.

5. Other

Jody will follow up with Matt Emmert regarding the repair of cases in the NS corridor
