1. Welcome and Introductions
2. Agenda Review
   • Susan went over the agenda, no additions were proposed by committee members.
3. Acclamations, Accolades, Announcements
   • Piper shared her experience at LOEX, the committee discussed the LOEX webinar offerings this year.
   • Susan shared her experience at the ACRL Traveling Information Literacy workshop at Illinois State.
     • The committee discussed the scalability and effectiveness of day-long workshops. Harriet shared her experience developing a day-long workshop.
   • Susan shared that this is her last meeting as Acting Chair before Lisa returns from sabbatical.
4. Discussion: Instructional Spaces in the Library
   • Susan proposed that the committee generate a statement on instructional spaces in the library with the proposed building changes. The committee agreed that this statement is necessary, but tabled it until more members were available at the next meeting.
   • Susan shared the plans for the UGL 289 instructional space that will be available for the 2018-2019 academic year.
   • The committee discussed the challenges of the ACES 509 instructional space and discussed solutions.
   • Piper shared her experience with teaching in Library 314 and usability of desk heights in different teaching spaces. The committee also discussed the impact of desk height on the effectiveness of instructors.
5. Open Discussion
   • The committee asked Harriet to share about her new position at Washington University.
   • The committee thanked Susan for her service as Acting Chair.
