Approval of Meeting Minutes: Minutes were approved.

Discussion of Vacant Positions on committee:

Angie Gruendl leaving UIUC.  LSSC position now open for Physical Science & Engineering Division.

Shoshana Vegh-Gaynor left UIUC.  LSSC position now open for Art & Humanities Division.

Cristina-Maria Kuhn stepping down from LSSC position.  LSSC position now open for Technical Services Division and Administrative Council Liaison.

LSSC Secretary position open.

 Kim Hutcherson replaced Cristina-Maria Kuhn on Administrative Council.

 Liaison Reports and Updates:

Life Sciences: Did not meet

Special Collections: Reported on the Building Project –  Consultants asking questions.

Central Public Services: Reported that Central Public Meeting was in Undergraduate Library 289.  Reported that Mary Mallory retired from Government Documents.

Physical Sciences & Engineering: Chemistry Library closed for floor project.

Administrative Services: No updates.

Webpage Edits: Angie will make the necessary changes to the website regarding members of LSSC and turn it over to Kim Hutcherson to add minutes.

Furniture News and Updates:  Library Staff ALA Presentations – Brown Bag set for August 20 2019 from 12-1 in Room 106.

Possible future event:  LSSC to host New Employee brownbag  in September
