- Minutes approved with a few minor corrections
- Collections discussion
- Start discuss of candidates for transfer to the Med fund next fall – Peg
- Have one-time money ($500,000) and new recurring money ($500,000) for Med coming fall of 2018
- Peg created Box folder to identify journals to transfer from other funds
- UIC will contribute $100,000 over next 3 years for Up-To-Date
- Will not support it after the contract runs out (supposedly)
- Peg initially said no to Up-To-Date
- Curriculum coordinator has asked her to reconsider
- Have one-time money ($500,000) and new recurring money ($500,000) for Med coming fall of 2018
- Lynn Wiley put together a task force to review approval funds
- Is asking divisions to decide if they want to set up an auto-ship profile for specific publishers

- Discussions continue between UIC and UIUC on proposal to move Ryan to Grainger
- Peg sat in on meeting with Thread Coordinator to understand what the students’ schedule will look like, how the curriculum plays out
- Students will use Compass for course management
- Committee assignments and reports – AC, CDC, others
- CDC – discussion continues about canceling journal subscriptions that have overlapping access, information will be pushed out to fund managers
- Assessment Committee – a forum is being planned for the spring and an exhibit demonstrating results of the grant program
- User Services Advisory – Budget reduction is 1.5% for the coming year
- Will come from central money; no plan for divisions to make cuts
- Reference Management – looking at options to replace current chat software

- Would like to see subject specialists more involved in DMP review
- Funk ACES did space assessment survey before Thanksgiving
- 53% of respondents were from outside of life sciences
