Minutes:  Minute Taker: Zoe Revell

1. November minutes approved as amended
2. Discussion with Jake MacGregor, Organizational Development and Training Coordinator

• Introductions for Jake and Jake’s background. History of how Jake’s position was formed and the scope of the position.
• Jake discussed the changes that Staff Development and Training is going through and introduced a draft of the Redefining Staff Development and Training document.
• Question and answer period of how the Diversity committee might fit in. Discussion document attached.

3. Updates and Announcements

• Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Search has two more candidates to interview
• January 8 meeting is canceled
• Refreshments for Sousa Event in Feb. 24 with Renee Baker Orchestra. Will need food for musicians.  Need to ask for funds for cookies and water.

4. Meeting Plans/Events for Spring 2019

• Cultural Connections Event set for January 25, 12-1:30pm. Presenters are from Latin America, two are photographers.  Zoe will check on room and work with Atoma on refreshments
• Archives might be showing the Albert Lee Film and Home of Their Own in room 66 in February
• Training on Moving from Ally to Co-Conspirator – no update
