Beta Alpha Psi is an international honors organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students.

Beta Alpha Psi encourages and recognizes academic and professional excellence in the financial information field, promotes the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems, and provides opportunities for personal growth, service, and networking. It also encourages a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

Founded in 1919 at the University of Illinois, it is currently headquartered at Durham, North Carolina.  The organization has 300 chapters and over 300,000 members worldwide.
