Founded at the University of California at Berkeley in 1989 and recognized by the College Panhellenic Association in 1990, alpha Kappa Delta Phi is an international Asian-interest sorority with 51 chapters located at universities across the United States and in Canada. The organization is a part of the National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA), which it helped charter in 2006.
