UIUC’s Global Popular Culture collection is a powerful tool to emphasize content in class, add fun to a club meeting, and much more! We are proud to offer a range of programming, outreach, and instruction opportunities to meet the interests of our community.
Collaboration Menu
Collaborative programs can take a range of formats including (but not limited to):
- Library Orientation Sessions
- “Show-and Tell” Sessions
- Workshops/Instruction
- Academic Programming (e.g. lectures, panel discussions, game days)
- Social Programming (e.g. gaming and puzzle events, book clubs)

For more information about each of these formats, explore the In-Depth Collaboration Menu.
One special type of event we can offer is a zine workshop, which has a separate request form linked below.
Either way, the first step to collaborating with us on your event is filling out our collaboration form to tell us what you have in mind, and we will follow up to help develop your idea. If you’re unsure about your idea or want additional information, please reach out to Global Popular Culture Librarian, Mara Thacker, for more information.
