Welcome to the Development Officers of Research & Academic Libraries (DORAL) website! DORAL was formally established as an organization in 1991 to give fund-raising professionals in Academic Research Libraries (ARL) a community in which to share opportunities and challenges particular to the library environment. The group holds an annual meeting hosted by a member institution and attended by one representative from each library, preferably the chief library development officer.
