Building Information:
The Grainger Engineering Library Information Center opened on March 15, 1994. The building has 92,000 square feet of assignable space and includes reading, seminar and conference rooms as well as group and scholar study spaces.
The second and third floors of Grainger Engineering Library are designated for quiet study, while the lower, first, and fourth are open to noise and group study.
Food is permitted both in the cafe beside the Espresso Royale on the first floor, and at the tables beside the vending machines and microwave on the lower floor.
The accessible entrance to Grainger Engineering Library is located on the south side of the building on the first floor, and three elevators are available for use – for more information, navigate to the facility access maps and search “Grainger” to find a map of our accessibility features.
