The Web Content Working Group reports to CAPT and is chaired by the Web Content Coordinator. It is the group that the Office of Web Technologies and Content Coordination works with most closely. In brief (see the complete charge of the Web Content Working Group), the group will:
act as the Editorial Board for the UIUC Library Web Site, ensuring consistent style, appropriateness and currency of content
solicit the development of content from Library authors
work to coordinate web development activities and timing of user instruction programs
evaluate the Libraries' web presence and services for both usability and accessibility
set standards for library web content consistent with University standards
provide leadership for the regular assessment of the University Library Web presence in terms of usability and accessibility in collaboration with stakeholders from around campus
coordinate needs analysis as part of ongoing program of assessment of Web-based services
recommend improvements and/or enhancements to the University Library Web site.
