This project allowed the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign to advance substantially our understanding of the ways in which Linked Open Data content models and technologies can help us better integrate our digitized special collections with related Web and library resources wherever located. This in turn will make our special collections more discoverable and more useful to faculty and students here, as well as to other scholars who access these unique digitized primary sources from around the world.
