The DNA TRUST Program speaks to an underlying, persistent, and pressing issue that has been felt by each generation of citizens living in America from the early Republic to the present: How will future generations understand and interpret the times that the present generation is living through? To do so, it designs and implements the first phase or a project that will be proposed to external funders, to inspire, motivate, and organize a decentralized group of individuals known as “Digital News Archons, will be designated to capture what American citizens are reading and how political information flows through society. The project will then investigate defined research questions noted in the main narrative.
