This study examined the experiences of novice qualitative researchers. Professor Hagman, in collaboration with a graduate hourly employee, conducted 30 interviews with current and recent graduate students, using both thematic and narrative analysis of the data to develop an understanding of the diversity of experiences and challenges faced by this group. The results from this study were used to further develop existing resources and services for qualitative researchers.
