CAPT Catalog and Metadata Working Group
This group, working with the Search, Discovery, and Delivery group, will be responsible for representing the Library and working with CARLI on the integrated library system use and management.

Charge
- The group is responsible for developing and maintaining sustainable policies and procedures for the Library’s cataloging and metadata operations that support collection management and discovery across various systems.
- The group ensures all Library policies and procedures conformance to state (CARLI), national, and international standards.
- This group creates, maintains, documents, and promulgates Library’s policies and practices on cataloging and metadata, classification, and authority control.
Membership Details
Members of the group represent the areas of the Library that are responsible for cataloging and metadata, discovery, and systems (Acquisitions and Cataloging Services and Special Collections Division). The Head of ACS is a member of the group. The group will also invite one member from Collection Management Services. The Chair and Vice-Chair are selected from members. The Vice-Chair is selected every year and will serve two years – the first year as the Vice Chair and the second year as the Chair.
