Media Editing at the Media Commons

The Media Commons offers many options for media editing stations and consultation services to help facilitate media editing.

Computers and Equipment

  • Available are 10 iMacs for media editing.
  • Each run Snow Leopard, and have our standard Mac software installed with the addition of Final Cut Express. 
  • There is a wide variety of complementary peripheral equipment (external drives, cameras, microphones, headphones, etc.) which can be checked out from the Undergraduate Library Loanable Technology desk.

High End Media Editing

Six high end media editing stations are available and may be reserved for consultations.  (Details....)

Production Studio

The production studio at the Media Commons will be available for video and audio production using state of the art equipment. Training sessions will be required before using the facilities.
