The University Library is providing quarterly updates on the Library Building Project for Library faculty and staff.

The Library Consultation Working Group, a campus committee charged by the Provost, will host a campus-wide Town Hall presentation and discussion of the 100% submittal of the Special Collections Research Center Redevelopment Plan Programming and Conceptual Design Study by the firm of JLK/brightspot on Wednesday, January 22 from 3-5pm in Illini Union Room 314A.

The campus recently received the final submittal for the Main Library Building’s conceptual design.

The Library Consultation Working Group, a campus committee charged by the Provost, will host a campus-wide Town Hall presentation and discussion of the 100% submittal of the Main Library Redevelopment Plan Programming and Conceptual Design Study by the firm of JLK/brightspot on Thursday, October 10 from 3-5pm in Illini Union Room 210.

The University Library is providing quarterly updates on the Library Building Project for Library faculty and staff.

The campus community is invited to hear about the Library’s building project on Thursday, May 16, from 3-4 p.m. in Room 66, Main Library.

The Office of the Provost and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, along with Dean John Wilkin, have established a Library Consultation Working Group to review, discuss, and propose changes to both the Main Library and Undergraduate Library.

The University Library received approval on February 22, 2019, to begin work with an architectural firm.

Dean John Wilkin continues to meet with many Library and campus groups about the Library Building Project. Several salons for Library personnel are taking place during January and February. This list will be updated throughout the year.
