The 2009 Festival was held on March 31, 2009 at the University YMCA in Champaign.

Thanks to Bea Nettles, Kathleen Smith, the Center for Children's Books, Soybean Press, and the University of Illinois Library including the Library Advancement Office, Human Resources, and Rare Book and Manuscript Library for donating prizes!  Also, thanks to Bea Nettles who photographed each entry before it was sliced for the viewers to enjoy.

The 2009 festival was hosted by the University YMCA as a part of the Know Your University Series.  The Strategic Communications and Marketing Committee at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library also provided support for this program.
