Welcome! The Media Commons is composed of two spaces: Room 220 on the second floor of the Main Library and Room 306 on the third floor. These two spaces do not have the same open hours. Please check this page for current room-specific information.
Main Library Room 220
The Media Commons Collaborative Space is located in Room 220 and is open to patrons during the following semester hours: Libraries & Hours page. Hours may be reduced over breaks and during summer. Room 220 includes Self-Use Media Studio C, collaboration rooms, scanners, desktop computers, docking stations, and more!

Room 306 includes our Loanable Technology collection, Self-Use Media Studios A and B, the Video Studio, and Pro-Gear Rentals.

The Media Commons Loanable Technology Desk is located in Room 306 on the third floor of the Main Library (northeast corner). Click here for the accessibility maps.
The closest building entrance is the north/Wright St entrance to the building. Stairs will be immediately to your right, and the elevator is past those stairs, down the hall near the entrance to the University Archives.
Orange Room Loanable Technology:
