Letter from John Francis Maguire addressed to "My dear sir", describing his delivery of a speech before "the Government" (presumably the House of Commons); the author indicates that he is sending the speech to "the Freeman", per the request of Sir John Gray, but that it will first appear in the Cork Examiner "of Tuesday".
