A manuscript with watercolor drawings written at Spade House, Sangate, Kent for Marjory Hick, daughter of Dr. Henry Hick of New Romney, who cared for H.G. Wells when he became ill in 1898.

Three folio sheets of Whatman paper folded centrally and stitched with red silk thread. Paper brown from acidification. Lower right corner wanting from first leaf; text unaffected. Last leaf blank.
A later manuscript used by Harrap for publication is held by Toronto Public Library.
