Discuss issues and investigate best practices pertaining to library provision of numeric and spatial data and assistance offered to data users, including data procurement and curation, and assessment of services.
Investigate and recommend documentation standards for data sets curated by the library.
Collaborate with library and campus partners on projects that strengthen and potentially embed the library's data services on campus.
Promote data services to the library and the campus.
Create opportunities for collaborating with researchers to strengthen the campus environment for using, documenting, and storing data.
