Focus groups - free pizza!
Attention Undergraduate Students: you and your friends are invited to attend a library focus group (and get free pizza)! All you have to do is give us your likes and dislikes about websites (and doing library research) during one of our focus group sessions. The Undergrad Library is working on website updates to include more of the tools students want/need to use when they are doing projects for class.
Please register for one of the follow days by emailing dh-ward@illinois.edu. We are going to be taking the first eight people for each session who email, so let us know soon if this is something you and your friends want to be a part of.
- Sunday November 15th, 2-4pm
- Monday, November 16th 3-5pm
- Tuesday, November 17th 8-10pm
We will meet in room 295, Undergrad Library. Just ask at the front desk for directions to the room! See you then.

Get a $5 gift card...
Don’t just read about research in class, become a part of it. And help us make the Undergrad a better place in the process. Two researchers from the Undergraduate library are seeking 40 first-year students to participate in a research study about how students find items on the shelves in the library. Participants will find library items and be observed while sharing their thought process in addition to a short interview.
All participants who complete the study will get a $5 Espresso Royale gift card.
