Minutes

  1. Addition to the agenda (15 min.)
  • Taylor’s Last LAC Meeting
  • HLC Accreditation- Virtual meeting went well, but the HLC still is planning on coming for an onsite meeting once it is considered safe to do so. The Accreditation report originally had some mistakes with the number of titles in the library, however this has been fixed.
  • COVID-19 surveys- An abundance of surveys. Ithica offers a COVID-19 survey, but this isn’t considered a good use of funds at the moment. Other Big 10 Assessment Units have their own COVID-19 surveys. CITL has survey options.
John reminded the LAC that the library is sending out two other surveys shortly, which may contribute to survey overload if we do another COVID-19 survey.
Yali mentioned the usefulness of having non-traditional (late night) office hours, and wondered if the desire for these could be put on the course evaluation forms.
  • Library Assessment Grant application under review
  1. Library Usage Trends
    • Graphs showing usage trends shown for chat reference and for proxy usage. There were several graphs and information, some of which can be broke down by college, some of which can’t. If you are interested in stats of library usage for your department (or generally), contact Jen.
  1. Member Updates (Round-robin)
  • Current projects?
  • Do you know any academic programs that are/will be going through accreditation?
    • Departmental accreditation for Health Sciences was moved to Fall.
