  1. Review division feedback on definition of instruction, including needs as well as what we are already doing

    2. Discuss priorities and organization for team
      1. Last month, the following items from our charge were identified as potential first steps:
        1. Identify metrics and methods to demonstrate how and where Library instruction makes an impact on student teaching and learning;
        2. Coordinate with Library colleagues on developing a comprehensive teaching and learning assessment and reporting program connected to reporting structures of the Library, campus, and profession (e.g. ARL/ACRL);
        3. Identify what support is needed to promote the Library’s instructional programming and contributions to student learning to campus partners, including teaching faculty and campus administrators;

    1. BTAA Critical Pedagogy follow-up
      1. Call for volunteers through end of March
    2. Feedback on support for teaching in campus classrooms
      1. David and Alex Deeke are working with IT to identify kits for staff loaner pool

  1. Review division feedback on definition of instruction, including needs as well as what we are already doing

Each division reviewed the conversations around instruction within their division.  We identified some commonalities, but also noted the diversity of ways instruction is structured and delivered, as well as the variety of obstacles instructors face.  Common themes included: support for developing videos and online instruction materials; strategies to engage campus faculty and market how Library instructional services can connect to their classes; the need for more staffing to meet demands; and the need to understand what our colleagues are doing and avoid duplication of effort.
    3. Discuss priorities and organization for team
