    Angie brought up an issue with a comment that is probably a bot, on a WordPress post. WordPress commenting will be disabled.
  3. Announcements/Updates
    • Cultural Connections Series for Spring
      • Panel with Students form Africa – March 9, 12-1 p.m., 106 Library
      • Peace as a Means for Cultural Connection – March 30, 12-1 p.m., 106 Library

      Africa session was well attended, about 14ish people, speakers were well prepared and had PowerPoints with props. Discussion of photo taking at events. Discussion of sending thank you notes to presenters. Discussion of rules around food and budgeting. Discussion of recruitment for future cultural connections.

    • Culture of Disability Expo April 2018 – JJ
      April 11, 10-2, need to get flyer from DRES
    • Welcome Week 2018 – Jessica and Emily
      Good discussion about immigrant families and the difficulties they face. Ongoing discussion about planning and pretty open to new ideas and having the library involved. Discussion of what library might do, no decision made.
    • iSchool Event Friday evening April 27 and Saturday/Sunday April 28/29
      Topic: “Conquering Racism”

      Cindy will get a flyer for publicity purposes.
  4. Moving Forward with ClimateQUAL Recommendations – Cindy and Zoe
    Chairs of several involved committees got together and talked about the recommendations and discussed who is working on what. Discussion on what the informal working group is doing and why.
  5. Diversity Potluck: Budget Group will fund space rental and water – Zoe
    Potluck was very popular two summers ago. Had problems rescheduling last year. Second week of June is the current time period available. Discussion of how to handle food and participation. Zoe will look into scheduling the Y.
  6. Communication Plan – Emily
    Communication plan looks good. Emily did a great job!
