  1. Questions about where to start with potential threats of/presence of bad weather – LSSC had some concerns regarding how the library handles the threat and presence of bad weather. LSSC would like to see a more proactive and nuanced approach from library administration during periods of very bad weather that directly considers the wellbeing and best interest of staff and graduate students and shows a willingness to close the entire library even in the absence on the shutdown announcement.

Chris Prom will reach out to LSSC and layout some of the thoughts that have been behind some of the most recent messaging that were around the campus closures. Chris will also be meeting with the provost regarding these concerns and discrepancies for clarity.

  1. Upcoming policy related to food/drink/plants in the library – Tim Newman is working with preservation and relooking at the food, drink, and plant policies.

  1. Patron Conduct Policy – Mary Laskowski is looking to potentially establish a group to look over and revise the Patron Conduct Policy. This group will look at the current policy and decide if it would make more sense to draft a new policy instead of trying to revise what exists.
