Attendees: Mara Thacker (Vice-Chair); Kirstin Johnson, Joe Lenkart, William Maher, Kelli Trei, Chris Wiley, MJ Han, and Sarah Williams. Lucretia Williams (recording).

 

Invited Attendees: David Ward, Mary Laskowski, Sara Holder, and Tom Teper.

 

Absent: Chris Prom [Attended the CNI conference]

 

The December 12, 2022, Library Executive Committee meeting was held in the absence of the interim Dean, and it was chaired by the Vice-Chair in accordance with Section 2.B.2 of the Library Bylaws. The meeting was used to advance discussion of proposals, but in keeping with Section A of the Executive Committee’s charge, the committee deferred final decisions until the interim Dean attends a future meeting.

 

1. Approve minutes – EC will vote on the November 28, 2022, and December 5, 2022, minutes when the interim Dean Chris Prom is present at the meeting on January 9, 2023.

 

2. EC and the AULs/Directors discussed the budget document – EC discussed the budget document timeline, process and some of the initial ideas gathered.
