The Sousa Archives and Pride Fest 2025’s One Community Together through Music returns October 25th as part of this year’s Uniting Pride of Champaign County celebration.\u00a0 The Champaign-Urbana Pride Fest celebrates LGBTQ+ pride in our local community.\u00a0 The 2025 CU Pride Parade will step off at 1:00pm from the parking lots on E. Illinois between Broadway and Vine, and will make its way to downtown Urbana to join the celebration\u2019s vendors, activities, art, and community organizations sharing information.<\/p>\n
Starting at 1pm, this year\u2019s One Community Together (OCT) stage will provide music performances by several local music ensembles.\u00a0 The OCT stage will be located at the intersection of Urbana\u2019s Broadway and Main Streets.\u00a0 Children\u2019s educational activities and information about our communities many libraries, archives, and museums will be provided the Champaign County Museums Network, University of Illinois Library, Spurlock Museum and the Champaign County History Museum.<\/p>\n
Music Performances<\/strong><\/p>\n 1:00-1:45 — Bow-dacious String Band and the C4A Old Music Group<\/strong><\/p>\n 2:00-2:45 — Mars Hojilla Solo<\/strong><\/p>\n 3:00-3:45 — Sweetmelk<\/strong><\/p>\n 3:45-4:00 — King Molasses<\/strong><\/p>\n 4:00-4:45 — Emily the Band<\/strong><\/p>\n Children’s Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n 1:00-5:00 — Watercolors and Rainbows – Celebrate the colors of the rainbow and show your pride with young artists coloring our local community with watercolor pencils and other materials.\u00a0 Sponsored by the Giertz Gallery and Krannert Art Museum.<\/p>\n All children’s activities and music programs are Free<\/strong> and open to the general public.
