Celebrate the start of the Center’s April International Jazz programming with an exciting performance by the University of Illinois saxophone studio on April 4, 2026, 2-3:30pm at the Urbana Public Library.<\/p>\n

For those folks, both young and old, who might have a hankering for pre-jazz era saxophone music, then we have an exciting performance by the talented students from the University of Illinois sax studio that will take place at the Urbana Free Library.\u00a0 This not-your-mama\u2019s tea-party concert highlights the rhythms and sounds of today\u2019s up-and-coming saxophonists combined with the musical styles of early vaudeville artists like Rudy Wiedoeft, Wilbur C.
